Prince Harry wasn't on UK soil this Mother's Day, but he still arranged a touching honour for his late mother. The Duke of Sussex sent a bouquet of flowers to be laid at Princess Diana's grave on Sunday.

Mother's Day 2021: Prince Harry sent flowers for Princess Diana

Mother's Day 2021 was today, March 14, in the UK. Prince Harry's heartfelt gesture for his late mum was confirmed by his spokesperson, according to Hello! The flowers would've been laid on the grounds of Althorp, Diana's childhood home in Northamptonshire, England, where she was buried.

In September 1997, Diana was laid to rest at a secluded spot on an island on the Althorp estate, chosen by her brother, Charles Spencer. Prince Harry was just 12 years old at the time of his mother's tragic death.

Prince William also honoured Diana this Mother's Day in a post shared to Instagram. His and Duchess Kate's three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—all made cards "remembering their Granny, Diana, for William."

Mother's Day 2021 was also a touching occasion for Princess Eugenie. The royal celebrated the holiday for the first time as a mother and she shared a new picture of her 1-month-old son, August, in a tribute reflecting on the milestone.
