The Queen has had enough of the rocky relationship between her two grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry! According to a report in the new issue of US Weekly, Queen Elizabeth II wants them to finally put their differences aside and clear the air "like grown adults."
Multiple sources have confirmed to US Weekly and revealed that Her Majesty is really not happy how the two royals have handled things over the past year. The 94-year-old monarch "is firmly of the opinion that this nonsense cannot and must not continue any longer," one source claims. "She wants the boys to sit and resolve their differences like grown adults."
A second source has revealed that the Queen had hoped the two princes would get a chance to have a face-to-face at their cousin Beatrice's wedding, which was originally scheduled for May. But, as we all know by now, Princess Beatrice's secret wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place in mid-July and it was only a small ceremony.
Now, Her Majesty apparently is hoping that Prince Harry, who has been living in Los Angeles with Duchess Meghan and Archie, will eventually leave the United States and come to Balmoral for a visit before summer is over. There, they could have the heart-to-heart she is rooting for. "She wants them to chat in person," the second source says, "not on the phone or via Zoom, which wouldn’t be as effective."
We had previously reported that Prince William and Prince Harry were back in touch after the tense royal exit at the start of the year. A royal sit-down might be in the cards this year, but we will have to wait and see if Harry and Meghan will travel to the U.K. from the United States, where the pandemic has certainly not been contained yet...
