William and Kate spotted riding bikes around island by tourists
William and Kate were seen out for a bike ride on the island of Tresco on Thursday, which is how their holiday destination was discovered! "William and Kate were riding their bicycles, having a laugh," a tourist shared with the Daily Mirror.
"They looked so happy enjoying the weather. I did do a double take. They were really friendly and said hello." As People mentions, the royal couple's outing is something that brought back childhood nostalgia for William! That's because in 1989, he also went for a bike ride around the islands with his brother Prince Harry and their parents— Princess Diana and Prince Charles!
William and Kate visited Isles of Scilly on royal tour 4 years ago
William and Kate's children may not have travelled to the Isles of Scilly before, but the couple previously paid a visit there 4 years ago! As People mentions, William and Kate toured the isles in September 2016 during a royal visit. However, the weather wasn't exactly favourable as it was pouring rain, which forced them to put up umbrellas!
The vacation to the islands off the southwest tip of England came at a good time for Prince William and Duchess Kate! Not only were they able to get outside with their kids and enjoy the beautiful summer weather, they also got to have a short break before resuming royal duties.
People shares that William is set to promote the wrapping up of his mental health campaign, Heads Up, during the FA cup soccer final! William recently talked about mental health with soccer star David Beckham and other athletes, and has actively been participating in events for the initiative. Hopefully the FA cup outcome will make William happy, given that his favourite team continues to remain in the Premier League!
