The pictures posted featured a recent photo of Prince Philip with his grandson Prince Harry at Lady Gabriella's wedding in May of this year as well as a throwback photo of a formal portrait in which the Prince wears in military uniform in 1953.

Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla posted a photo from the 1950's on their official Clarence House Instagram account in honour of Prince Philip's special day. The precious photo depicts the cute moment of a young Prince Charles holding his father's hand after he returned from a trip to Malta.

Duchess Catherine and Prince William were eager to celebrate the Duke of Edinburgh's birthday as they shared a number of photos on the Kensington Royal official Instagram page. The opening photo was a lovely image of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II together, followed by special moments that Prince William and Kate shared their their grandfather and grandfather-in-law and concluded with a shot from the Trooping the Colour festivities in 2016.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan got into the spirit of celebration with their post for the Prince's 98th birthday as well. The first image shows the lovey bond between a smiling Prince Harry and his grandfather and the second image is an old photo of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor. It is a truly beautiful black and white image!

Princess Eugenie also shared three cute little throwback images to celebrate her grandfather's 98th birthday on June 10th. She said she "found a couple of classic photographs" and we can't help but think they are adorable!

All in all, it appeared that Prince Philip received an outpouring of love on his 98th birthday and we are so incredibly happy for him! We wish him a year filled with good health, lots of love and many laughs! Happy 98th birthday, to the Duke of Edinburgh!
