According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry has said that his biggest wish was to go live in Africa. However, this was before he was to settle down with Meghan Markle. The correspondent, Rebecca English, claimed the Duke would say: "I would love to just go and work as a tour guide, you know? Just go off into the bush and be me."

Prince Harry has wanted to step back from UK
Prince Harry has also expressed his desire to step away from the UK during the ITV documentary, Harry and Meghan: An African Journey (October 2019). Now it seems as though this new decade has brought a new chapter for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they announced their plans to split their time between the United Kingdom and North America.

Harry wants to protect his family
Meghan is currently in Canada with Archie and Prince Harry is expected to fly to Canada to meet with them soon. He has been attending meetings and engagements in Britain this week, including a meeting with the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William to discuss his future within the royal family. News has also broke that Harry and Meghan have just let go of all of their staff at Frogmore Cottage, which is prompting the public to believe that Canada might become their permanent residence in the future.
