On Monday, the Royal Family celebrated Commonwealth Day 2022. Traditionally, on this day, the Commonwealth Nations are honoured in a service at London's Westminster Abbey, which the Queen, 95, and her family usually attend.
However, Queen Elizabeth was absent this year. Since her COVID-19 battle, the monarch has not made any public appearances. But another royal lady shone all the more beautifully in front of the church.

Duchess Kate, 40, chose a bright blue coat by Catherine Walker for her Commonwealth Day outfit. She was the eye-catcher of the day — her XXS waist was particularly noticeable once again. The Duchess paired her coat with a hat in the same bright royal blue and matching heels.
Elegant, beautiful, stylish and close to the people — this is how Kate impresses time after time next to her husband Prince William, who proved to be a real British gentleman on the rainy day and held his wife's umbrella. The two clearly defied the English weather, which didn't spoil their good mood.

Besides Duchess Kate and Prince William, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla also attended the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey. Camilla opted for an equally colourful purple outfit with an impressive hat. (More photos here.)
It seems that the royals are already looking ahead to the start of spring in a few days.
