It has been quite some time since we have seen Duchess Catherine in a royal tiara but we will get to see the stunning Duchess dazzle once again on June 3rd, 2019. Donald Trump will be travelling to the U.K. for an official State Visit next week. The Queen will be hosting a private lunch on June 3rd for the President and First Lady, Melania Trump.
Prince Harry to join private lunch with the Queen
Donald Trump and his wife will be joining Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla for tea later in the day at their nearby residence, Clarence House. It is said that Prince Harry will be joining the private lunch with the Queen without his wife and new son, Meghan and Archie. Duchess Meghan is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor on May 6th, 2019.
State Banquet on June 3rd
The State Banquet that will occur in the evening of June 3rd will have Prince William and Duchess Catherine in attendance. This will be the first time since the Queen's State Banquet in October for King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands that Kate will be seen wearing a tiara. Duchess Catherine was last seen wearing the Lover's Knot tiara which was a favourite of the late Princess Diana.
Meghan Markle has yet to be seen wearing a royal tiara since her wedding day on May 19th, 2019. However, she has worn many pieces of jewelry that once belonged to her husband's late mother, Lady Diana and she has also worn some jewelry given to her by the Queen herself.
We have yet to see Duchess Meghan make a public appearance since the new family of three had their photo op at Windsor Castle's grand St. George's Hall. Prince Harry however, has made a handful of public appearances since the birth of his son. We can expect to see Meghan Markle once again for the Trooping the Colour celebrations that will take place on Saturday June 8th, in honour of the Queen's birthday.
