Naturally, the lion's share of this weeks royal news revolved around the birth of little Archie Mountbatten-Windsor. And while the eyes of the world were on Harry, Meghan and their "little bundle of joy", Duchess Catherine and Prince William went to Wales to visit some former colleagues and old friends.
Duchess Catherine and Prince William used to live in Anglesey
The royal couple paid a visit to the Caernarfon Coastguard Search and Rescue (SAR) helicopter base, a throwback for the Duke of Cambridge, who used to work as a rescue pilot at the base's former location at RAF Valley, Anglesey. At the base, they met some of William's old colleagues and the Prince was able to sit in a cockpit once again. Later on, Catherine and her husband participated in a beach litter pick.
