Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have been proud parents of a little son since May 6th. As is the royal tradition, the baby's name was not revealed right away after the birth. In a first interview given by Prince Harry shortly after, he explained that he and Meghan had not yet decided on a name.

Now the couple has finally made a decision. On Instagram, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry announced the name of their son: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
On the afternoon of May 8th, Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother were also present for this very special occasion.

Furthermore, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan already announced that Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born at 5:26 am on May 6th. He weighed 7lbs. 3oz. at birth and both the Duchess and Archie were doing well.
On the afternoon of May 6th, Prince Harry made a first statement. In it he revealed the first details about the birth of the baby Sussex. Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is seventh in the British line of succession since his birth, directly behind his father Prince Harry. Even though he is part of the British royal family, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor will not be in the limelight as much as his cousins.
