Prince Harry (34) and Duchess Meghan (37) welcomed their firstborn, a baby boy into the world this morning. The news was officially announced on their Instagram account at 3:38 pm on May 6th. The official statement read: "We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses' son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days."
Baby Sussex is a boy!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were expecting their first child whilst on tour of Australia and New Zealand last autumn, but royal baby fever had reached an all time high over the last few weeks, with rumours about the new royal addition running wild and now he is finally here fans can't wait to see more of Baby Sussex.

The new Prince is seventh in line to the throne, behind his cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as Prince William (36) is older than Prince Harry. Baby Sussex's arrival has bumped down Prince Andrew, Prince Charles's brother, from seventh in line to eighth.
