It's nearly impossible to escape from cameras and spotlights when you are royalty. However, little Archie, the son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, seems to seek the attention of the cameras... at least that of his mother's computer while she is in business meetings. According to a recent press report, Archie likes to interrupt Markle's work video calls on Zoom and appear in front of the camera at the slightest provocation.
Archie interrupts Meghan Markle's video calls
In the latest episode of the podcast, The Heir Pod, British journalist Omid Scobie pointed out that the young son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has had many "cameos" in his mother's work meetings in recent months.
According to Scobie, author of the controversial book Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, Archie "is no stranger to climbing in front of the web camera and making little impromptu cameos" in the daily calls that Meghan Markle holds with some of the associations she works with.
Apparently, the vast space for games that Archie has in his new house in Santa Barbara has not been enough to entertain the little one-year-old son of two of the most prominent figures in the media in recent years.
The camera: an obsession of the little royals
It is curious that Archie is not the only member of the new generation of royals who appears before the camera of their parents' computer.
In an interview with the BBC, Prince William revealed that his son Louis cannot avoid participating in his parents' virtual meetings, even if that means that the little prince cuts the connection at some point.
"For whatever reason, if he sees a red button, he will always want to push that red button," William pointed out. We wouldn't mind if a little Archie or Prince Louis appeared on a video call!
