Maddie Ziegler was the shining star of Abby Lee Dance company since she was 4 years old and we watched her time and time again exceed expectations and blow away viewers on Dance Moms with constant titles and 1st place trophies. Since she left the show in 2016, a lot of doors opened up for her!

Dance Moms Maddie has always been highly driven and has been a busy gal, starring in movies, modeling, and collaborating with big names like Kate Hudson! When she was 16 she wrote her own memoir in which she owed a lot to her good friend (and now Godmother!) Sia.
Maddie starred in Sia's hit "Chandelier" music video and went on to perform on tour with Sia. Dance Moms Maddie said that Sia was the one who showed her she could make her own choices, and Maddie has since said of her old mentor Abby Lee Miller "She's exactly how she is on the show... I feel like I had so much pressure on me to be the best in the room," and "Before I met Sia, I would say yes to a lot of things I didn't want to do... I'd be overwhelmed by the amount of work on my plate."
In her memoir, Dance Moms Maddie even recounts being pushed to practice and compete while sick. So she thanks Sia because "Now, I feel like I'm so free." She has since been acting, performing on film and TV in shows like Dancing with the Stars, The Book of Henry, and To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. She is even going to be in Steven Spielberg's upcoming production of West Side Story!
We can't wait to see what she does next, whatever it is, it's bound to be amazing. You go, girl!
