Bindi Irwin is paying tribute to her parents in a sweet way as she enters the final stage of her pregnancy journey! As Entertainment Tonight reports, Irwin took to social media on Thursday to share a new photo of her and husband Chandler Powell, which was inspired by a picture Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin took together.
Irwin and her husband emulate "a very special moment"
Irwin posted a photo on Instagram of her smiling with her shirt lifted up as she cradles her exposed baby bump, which Powell can be seen kissing. "Recreating a very special moment," Irwin wrote alongside the sweet image. "Third trimester love."
She also included another photo, which shows the "special moment" she's referring to! As Entertainment Tonight mentions, the picture was taken when Steve and Terri were expecting Bindi's younger brother, Robert. In it, the late Crocodile Hunter star and his wife can be seen in the same pose as Bindi and her husband, with Steve kissing Terri's pregnant belly— along with a young Bindi!

Irwin and Powell announced last year that they're expecting a baby girl, and have been frequently sharing updates about the pregnancy! The same day the wildlife activist posted her touching maternity photo in tribute to her parents, Powell also shared a cute photo of the couple!
In the sweet selfie, Irwin shows off that she's wearing one of Powell's uniform shirts as both smile for the camera. "With our baby girl growing, @bindisueirwin had to borrow my khaki shirt as hers isn’t buttoning over her gorgeous bump," Powell explained in his caption. "Love my girls!"
Near the end of December, Irwin gave fans what she called a "bumpdate," posting a casual photo that showed what her baby bump looked like at the time. And a couple months ago, she even shared video from one of her ultrasound appointments, which Powell was also present at!
