The state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II (†96) was a massive television event two years ago. Almost 4.1 billion people worldwide tuned in for the Queen's funeral on TV. It was later revealed that the palace had some scenes cut, including some of the Queen's grandchildren!

'The Guardian' reported at the time that some British TV stations had given the royals some say over the footage. Reportedly, some footage of the live broadcast was pulled from circulation - even during the ceremony!

There are reports that palace staff repeatedly exchanged messages with the major news channels during the funeral service and that the further use of certain recordings was prohibited.
Allegedly, several clips of Prince William and his brother Prince Harry will no longer be shown. However, the unedited live recordings of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral should still be available in the media libraries for about another month.
