NCIS: Hawaii: LeVar Burton directs today's episode
Best known from Star Trek, actor LeVar Burton also has experience as an occasional TV director. He makes his NCIS: Hawaii directing debut on Jan. 23.
It's actually not Burton's first time in the NCIS universe. He directed 10 episodes of NCIS: New Orleans, one of which he also appeared in as a guest star.
Over the years, he directed episodes of other shows including JAG, Las Vegas, and Star Trek.
After his run at the Jeopardy! hosting gig didn't work out, the 64-year-old Burton is now working on a variety of projects, including his own trivia series.
His NCIS: Hawaii episode, "Spies, Part 1," is the 12th episode of the debut season.
Fare are looking forward to the two-parter, because the episodes will welcome former Hawaii Five-0 star Beulah Koale in a guest role.
So, plenty of reasons to check out the new episode of NCIS: Hawaii.
The Vanessa Lachey series airs on Sunday nights on CBS.
