Good news for NCIS and NCIS: L.A. fans! While the coronavirus pandemic put a halt on nearly everything in the entertainment industry, CBS has now set tentative dates for NCIS and NCIS: L.A. to resume production in September, according to Deadline.
NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles Resuming Production In Early September
The outlet reported that NCIS is set to resume on September 9, and the spinoff series, NCIS: L.A. on September 3. Both of the series are produced by CBS TV Studios and filmed in Los Angeles, California. It is important to mention as well, that the dates are not set in stone due to the daily changes in restrictions and conditions of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Bull and Magnum P.I. Also Given Green Light
It's not just good news for the NCIS fans as two other CBS television series have reportedly also been given the green light. Micheal Weatherly's Bull and Magnum P.I. have been allowed to start up production once again with Bull filming in New York and Magnum P.I. in Hawaii.
If all four of these shows can safely resume production, this would mean a fairly regular fall schedule for CBS. We can also bet that some of our favourite cast members like Mark Harmon, Linda Hunt and Jay Hernandez are all excited to get back to work!
We will keep you updated on more as this develops, however, for now, we can look forward to seeing our favourite shows on television again!
