Mark Harmon

Mark Harmon is mainly known for his acting on NCIS. He has been portraying Agent "Gibbs" since 2003. 

He is married and has two children with his wife Pam Dawber.

Mark Harmon has showbusiness in his genes. His mother is actress Elyse Knox and his father was a professional football player, and Mark  probably inherited his talent from him as well: he successfully played football in college.

In 1983, when he was in his early 30s, Mark Harmon was seen in the series "St. Elsewhere" as "Dr. Caldwell". After two seasons the actor left the series: he had asked the authors to write more appealing storylines for his character. That led to the authors cutting the characer from the series.
