William and Kate have come together as a united front while Harry and Meghan remain divided from the royal family! As a source recently shared with People, the couple has not found it easy to deal with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's decision to step down, and have ended up becoming closer.
Kate said to be "really upset" by royal divide
Kate in particular is supposedly having a difficult time with things, and is "really, really upset" according to an insider. A friend of the royal also shared that the situation was "hugely stressful," explaining why the Duchess of Cambridge has found it hard to cope. "Seeing her husband so distraught was tough," the friend explained.
Since Kate's emotional state has been significantly impacted by William's, the two have looked to one another for support. In fact, William and Kate are said to be "closer together" in the wake of everything that's gone on. The friend also told People that Kate "has an inner strength" and said that the royal is "no pushover," both of which are admirable qualities for someone in line to become queen.
Back in August, it was reported that Kate and Meghan are working on repairing their relationship. William also briefly spent time with Harry earlier this year when they attended the unveiling of a commemorative statue on what would have been Princess Diana's 60th birthday. Even though the four likely won't be spending the holidays together any time soon, at least there have been efforts have made to rekindle relationships!
