Like so many on the anniversary of the tragedy, Sarah Ferguson wanted to remember those whose lives were lost. As it turns out, she was supposed to be one of them! Prince Andrew's ex-wife, paid tribute to victims of the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
Fergie and fate are good friends
On the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attack, she revealed a surprising detail: she almost became one of the victims of the attack. This is how Fergie explains it: "My charity Chances for Children was located on the World Trade Centre N Tower. I was meant to be there that morning 22 years ago but an interview ran late."

Here is the crazy part: "The Little Red doll, the charity's mascot, was found in the rubble. Today I am thinking of those who lost their lives," she shared on her Instagram story. Speaking in 2018 to 'Hello!', she said: "I take every minute as a blessing, I really do, and I really work hard at it. 'Because the minute you look too far forward, then you're missing now. The minute you look back,... you can't go back. Hindsight is a wonderful thing."
