The actor and comedian Chevy Chase is best known for his portrayals of "Clark W. Griswold" in five National Lampoon's Vacation films. Over the past few years he has been involved in numerous other projects and he is still successfully active in the entertainment industry today.

Chevy Chase (81) first became known as a member of the comedy show Saturday Night Live in which he took part in the mid-seventies. He often returned as a guest in the following years - most recently in 2024. Chevy Chase celebrated one of his greatest successes with the National Lampoon film series.
The first part, National Lampoon's Vacation, was released in 1983. Chevy Chase played the role of the family father "Clark Griswold", who goes on a trip with his family and experiences some surprises and complications. The sequel is the well-known Christmas comedy Christmas Vacation from 1989, which continues humorously.
Chevy Chase also participated in the 2009-2014 sitcom Community and in two episodes of the series Family Guy. Recently, he was cast in the 2017 film The Last Movie Star as well as in the 2018 movie The Last Laugh. You can watch him in the new films Panda vs. Aliens and The Ogilvy Fortune.
