- Charles receives bouquet of flowers from royal fan
- His reaction to the gift is unintentionally hilarious
Prince Charles didn't think twice before taking time to stop and smell the flowers! As Hello! shares, Charles was presented a beautiful bouquet on Wednesday while visiting Belfast, which ended up resulting in a funny moment.
Prince Charles is given lily of the valley bouquet
Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla are currently in Ireland on a royal tour, which led to the stop at CS Lewis Square. Laura-Ann Barr, who is the owner of a local flower shop called Little Buds, handed the royal a small bouquet that had been specially chosen for him and his wife! However, what Charles didn't realize was that the flowers weren't real.
"There's some lily of the valley, I heard it's her Majesty the Queen's favourite flower so we brought it out for her jubilee," Barr told the Prince of Wales. Then, he leaned in to try and smell the bouquet! The flower shop owner pointed out that they were "actually artificial," which caused Charles to respond with laughter.

Charles thanked Barr, telling her she was "very kind" for her thoughtful gift. Though the bouquet was fake, it still brought a smile to Charles's face! This isn't the first Irish-related mishap the royal has experienced recently. While he and Camilla enjoyed pints of Guinness earlier this month, his struggle to pour one also led to a hilarious moment.
