Duchess Meghan and her father have not seen each other since before she married Prince Harry in 2018. For this reason, Thomas Markle Sr. has been unable to meet his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
Thomas Markle, Meghan's father, wants to see his grandchildren
During a new appearance on Good Morning Britain today, Thomas Markle said: "I'd really love to see my grandchildren." He added that he considers Meghan's attitude to be "childish."
Mr. Markle also spoke about the rumours of possibly suing to be able to meet his grandkids, but clarified that he has no interest in doing so, as that would be acting in the same manner as Harry and Meghan.
He added that he would not like to involve his grandchildren and make them "pawns in a game," so he will wait until the moment is right to see them for the first time.
"It's time to talk with each other, we're family. The kids are going to grow up without knowing they have two families," concluded Markle, at times making revealing claims and at other times playing dumb in the interview.
Meghan has long had a difficult relationship with her father and half-siblings, but she's been entirely estranged from Thomas Sr. following his antics in the lead-up to her wedding, which he did not attend.
Thomas Markle Jr. is now also on Big Brother VIP, where he's been seeking attention by taunting his half-sister and Prince Harry.
