Following the passing of Prince Philip, the Royal Family has just released a never-before-seen portrait of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh surrounded by their great-grandchildren.

Duchess Kate was credited as the photographer of the 2018 family gathering, which was shared by the Royal Family on social media today. It shows the great-grandparent royals with all seven of their great-grandkids at the time.
The portrait sees the Queen and Prince Philip with (from left to right) Prince George, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, Savannah Phillips, Isla Phillips holding Lena Tindall, and Mia Tindall.
The heartwarming picture took place at Balmoral Castle in 2018. Since then, the Queen and the Duke have also become great-grandparents to three more children—Archie, August, and Lucas—giving them 10 great-grandkids.

Today, Prince William and Duchess Kate also shared an unseen 2015 photo of themselves with Prince George, a newborn Princess Charlotte, and the children's great-grandparents.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge captioned the post in memory of Prince Philip and the photos were shared in "remembering him as a father, grandfather and great-grandfather."
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, passed away on April 9 at the age of 99. He's survived by his wife of 73 years, the Queen, their four children, eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
