Royals And Sports Are A Great Combination
In 1976, Princess Anne made royal and Olympic history by being the first British royal to ever participate in the games. She competed in equestrian riding. The games were held in Montreal, and her mother the Queen, and her brothers, Andrew, Edward, and Charles were there to lend their support! Her daughter, Zara Tindall, followed suit almost 30 years later participating in the 2012 London Olympics. She also rode equestrian.
