- Prince Harry's ban looks permanent
- William is taking a stand
- THIS is what experts think
In an explosive revelation that's sending shockwaves through the corridors of Buckingham Palace, Prince William, the future King of England, has reportedly drawn a line in the sand, marking a year of silence between him and his younger brother, Prince Harry.
The release of Harry's tell-all memoir, 'Spare,' in January 2023, has only added fuel to the already blazing fire of their strained relationship, according to royal insiders.
A Royal Divide
Jennie Bond, a seasoned royal commentator, spilled the tea to 'OK! Magazine,' painting a picture of a resolute and unyielding Prince William. "William has always been a strong character," Bond remarked, attributing his steadfastness to a tumultuous childhood.
It seems the elder prince has become the unspoken enforcer within "The Firm," especially after the loss of their beloved grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
With a reputation for being stubborn, William's decisions are not to be taken lightly within the royal family. "He is definitely someone who commands respect within the family and whose views hold considerable sway," she said of the father of three.
"Obviously, as heir to the throne, his word carries a lot of weight in the family and I think it’s true that he has been prepared to take a tough stand on a number of issues, including [Princes] Andrew and Harry."
This includes the controversial stance he's taken against his brother Harry and their uncle, Prince Andrew.
Echoing Bond's insights, royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News that William has essentially "banned" Harry from re-entering the royal circle.
"It is widely known within the family that Prince William has laid down an absolute ban on Harry returning in any way, shape or form into his former royal family fold," she told Fox News.
Despite King Charles' soft spot for his "darling boy" Harry, it appears that William's word is final, leaving no room for reconciliation in the immediate future.
"If anyone will relent, it would be King Charles, whom, of course, Prince William won’t challenge, who still misses his ‘darling boy’ and would like to see more of Prince Harry."
"However, to this day, after the release of ‘Spare’ and the Netflix serial, as well as with everything else Harry has said, done, and not done, it’s Prince William who adamantly refuses to even speak to his brother," she added.

As the royal drama unfolds, it's clear that the release of 'Spare' and the subsequent Netflix series have deepened the rift between the brothers.
With William refusing to even speak to Harry, the future of their relationship remains uncertain, casting a long shadow over the monarchy's image.
