- Prince Harry and Prince William both have scheduled Singapore trips
- They both have different reasons for them
- Many are thinking there could be a reunion
According to 'People' magazine, both princes have scheduled trips to Singapore on the calendar coming up. They are both traveling to the island to promote causes close to heart in the coming months, though their visits don’t officially overlap, however. William is set to arrive there on November 7 for the 2023 'Earthshot Prize' ceremonies. On the other hand, it has been confirmed that that Prince Harry, will play in the 2023 Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup at the Singapore Polo Club on Aug. 12. Being a massive polo fan, this isn't all that surprising.
Will this be the start of a new beginning?
For many, this could be an opportunity for reconciliation. After all, royal relations don't exactly seem solid as of late. Prince Harry was with his family for the coronation of King Charles III, however, that was it! There was no family dinner or affair after that Harry took part in, which symbolizes the fact that there is still quite a rift between them. Prince William participated in the church service at Westminster Abbey, while Prince Harry flew home to the U.S. soon after the ceremony.
Harry has stayed close to his California home for the Sentebale Polo Cup in recent years, as the event was held in the United States the past two years. But William is also a big fan of the sport. Though Harry and William share a love of polo and use the sport to fundraise for important causes, the distance between them continues.
Also interesting:
In any case, there will surely be plenty of time to reconsider a meeting until then. For thousands of Britons, a dream reunion between the two brothers could signify a new era in the British monarchy, with many already paying more attention to the future monarch in William than the current monarch in King Charles. One thing is for certain, if the British royal family is going to survive the trends of the future, it will need all members on hand. Perhaps, their Singapore trips could have some overlap after all, with preserving the future of the monarchy in mind. But with Harry's thoughts on the institution at large...who knows?
