- Baby Lilibet is one year old next month
- Harry and Meghan will travel with her
- Lilibet can finally meet the queen
Baby Lilibet Diana is almost a year old already, and the littlest royal will get to celebrate with her extended family! With the news confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be travelling to the United Kingdom next month for the Queen's Jubilee, Hello! shares that Lilibet will also be joining them.
Lilibet is expected to meet her great-grandma
Lilibet turns 1 year old on June 4, at which time the Queen's Platinum Jubilee will be underway. The Queen herself commemorates her own birthday just a couple days earlier, with her annual Trooping the Colour parade taking place at Buckingham Palace as per tradition. While specific plans for the day of Lilibet's first birthday aren't known, it seems as though she will finally have a chance to meet the Queen!
Harry and Meghan visited with the Queen when they were in the U.K. recently. However, they didn't bring their children with them. While their son Archie has had the opportunity to meet his great-grandma before, this will be the first opportunity for Lilibet! It's likely that the Queen won't be the only royal she's introduced to, as Hello! mentions she could also meet her grandparents, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla.
Also interesting:
Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's daughter was born in California during the summer of 2021, this trip will mark her very first visit to London. Baby Lilibet getting to meet the Queen at such a special time for them both comes as delightful news. Hopefully this means we'll get to see some sweet pictures of her spending time with the rest of the royals!
