Prince William is reflecting on some relatable quarantine concerns.
The Duke of Cambridge made his return to public duties on Tuesday morning when he visited paramedics at the Ambulance Station in King's Lynn, Norfolk. In addition to expressing his gratitude to the first responders, William shared a few laughs and offered a window into lockdown life with the Cambridge family.

According to Hello!, the prince touched on the lack of exercise imposed upon many during life in quarantine. "I'm worried about the waistline of the nation as well with all the chocolate and cakes," he joked.
While social distancing guidelines were followed during the visit, Prince William didn't distance himself from these fears of lockdown-related weight gain.
"I've done a lot of baking at home," he added. "Chocolate goes down very well."
Nearly three months in lockdown at Anmer Hall allowed the prince time to indulge his sweet tooth and refine his baking hobby, it would appear.

But along with lighthearted moments such as this, William also addressed more pressing matters with the paramedic staff.
"The Duke heard from the crew about their impact on mental health and wellbeing, the support they have received from members of the public and local businesses, as well as help from volunteering networks," Kensington Palace reported.

The visit was the Duke of Cambridge's first in-person assignment since royal engagements returned to public settings this week. Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla additionally stepped out on Tuesday morning, visiting hospital staff in Gloucestershire.
Both gatherings displayed careful attention to maintaining social distancing, while permitting the royals to spotlight the efforts of frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
