Prince William and Duchess Kate's plans for Christmas have changed... yet again. According to People, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be forced to spend the holidays at Anmer Hall in Norfolk after the UK government imposed restrictions following the discovery of a new strain of COVID-19 in the region. Previously, the couple had considered spending the season with Kate's family, the Middletons, but that's no longer on the table.

As reported by outlets including People, the Cambridges had considered spending the holiday season with the Middletons in Berkshire. It would have been the first Christmas Prince William celebrated with his wife's family.

However, the region has been closed by the British government, so neither the Duke and Duchess nor Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, will be able to travel and meet with Michael and Carole Middleton, as they had previously considered.

Unable to celebrate the holidays with either of their families, Prince William and Kate Middleton will have to spend Christmas this year with their three children at Anmer Hall on their Norfolk estate.

There is speculation that William could still see his father, Prince Charles, at some point over the holiday. Charles and Duchess Camilla earlier cancelled their annual plans at Balmoral, but it's also appearing questionable if they'll be able to gather with family at all.
