The Royal family has been putting a lot of effort into celebrating and appreciating key workers and the NHS, from funding hospital supplies or Kate Middleton's powerful Hold Still photography contest. Now Prince William and Duchess Kate planned an extra special moment for key worker's families and shared the footage on Instagram!
Prince William and Kate Middleton's Christmas Surprise
William and Kate's big hearts know no bounds! For this holiday season, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge put together a socially distanced show for NHS key workers and their children to enjoy.
While the families enjoyed The National Lottery's Pantoland at The Palladium, the Royals collaborated with The National Lottery and Hamley's to surprise all the guest's children with Christmas presents they requested! Not only was the performance a great big treat (that Prince Louis, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte greatly enjoyed!), but the Royals brought great smiles to countless children afterward!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted a sweet video to their Instagram performed in a classic Christmas story style that even had both William and Kate narrating!
The pair captioned the video with: "A Christmas surprise... This year has been extraordinary for many reasons, but through the hardship some of the most incredible people have emerged. This Christmas we want to say THANK YOU to all our key workers and their families for all they have done, and for the sacrifices they have made to keep us safe."
"As a small part in the effort we worked with @Hamleys Official and @TNLUK to bring a bit of Christmas magic to the children of those key workers that came to the Palladium last Friday. We hope you enjoy the [video]." See the video here!
