Princess Charlotte's first day of school next Thursday will be really special! Kensington Palace has just confirmed that she will be accompanied by her parents, Prince William and Duchess Catherine, as well as her brother Prince George on this important occasion!
Since January 2018 Princess Charlotte has been attending Willcocks Nursery in Kensington, but on September 5th 2019 she will begin her first term in Reception at Thomas's Battersea, a school for both boys and girls, described itself as "happy, dynamic and vibrant", and rated as outstanding by the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills (Ofsted.)
Princess Charlotte's brother Prince George is re-joining his classmates
Princess Charlotte's first day of school will probably be a little bit scary for her, good news is that apart from meeting new teachers and friends, she will have her brother Prince George really close as he will re-join his classmates in Year Two!
In her reception year, the lovely Princess Charlotte will have French, Computing, Art, Music, Drama and Ballet classes. She and her new classmates will also be able to learn how to make choices, be creative and solve problems, according to the Thomas's Battersea School's official webpage.
In 2017 Duchess Catherine missed out on Prince George's first day of school because she was pregnant with Prince Louis and suffered from severe morning sickness, so we are sure that this time will be particularly special for her!
