Prince William reportedly still has hard feelings toward Duchess Meghan.
This weekend, a story came out that the Duke of Cambridge once even had an outburst about his sister-in-law and called her an insulting name to friends. According to royal expert Robert Lacey, the name was "that bloody woman."
Prince William allegedly called Meghan "that bloody woman"
Lacey revealed the story this weekend after learning of it from a royal source. Writing in Daily Mail, he said Prince William had it "pointed to him that everyone has a difficult sister-in-law."
Apparently, William nodded his head "in sage acceptance," but he then "suddenly broke out angrily." This was his alleged outburst in full: "But look at the way that bloody woman treated my staff — merciless!"
Prince William's remark references the allegations that Meghan bullied staff at Kensington Palace while she and Prince Harry worked there in 2018.
That claim only went public in 2021, as did the revelation that William and Harry's relationship truly broke down over an argument related to the accusations against Meghan.
It was again Lacey who wrote that the brothers had a "fierce and bitter" showdown as Harry defended his wife in that heated argument with William in 2018.
More William-Harry relationship bombshells before Diana event
Lacey, the royal historian and author of Battle of Brothers, has released several bombshell claims about Prince William and Prince Harry in the weeks leading up to their reunion on July 1.
In the same report, a source told the insider that the brothers even "started quarrelling" during the funeral of Prince Philip back in April. Nonetheless, they'll publicly reunite to unveil a statue of Princess Diana at Kensington Palace this Thursday, July 1.
