- There is a new royal family portrait
- But some are missing from the picture
- There is a simple reason for this
After the coronation weekend, the British royal family shared a new family portrait on the official Instagram account of the royal family. But one detail makes fans take a double look because some key members are missing.
British royals: that's why they are missing from the family portrait
"An official portrait following the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on 6th May," is written under the royal picture in the caption. The royals pose in a red hall, with Charles and Camilla in the middle, surrounded by family members.
The caption continues: "Pictured from left to right: The Duke of Kent, The Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Gloucester, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Princess Royal, The King, The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Princess of Wales, The Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Alexandra, The Duke of Edinburgh."
Fans of the Royals are not thrilled
Followers comment on the picture and state: "Not the total Royal family. it seems like someone is missing from this photo." Not infrequently, the name Prince Harry comes up.
But William and Kate's children were not allowed in the picture either, even though Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5) were part of the coronation.

But why is the royal, who lives in the USA, and the children of the heir to the throne, among others, missing?
There is a simple explanation: only working royals are photographed. This explains why, in addition to Prince Harry (38), Prince Andrew (68) is also missing, although he is higher in the line of succession than most of those present.
