The Duchess is the cover star of the new issue of People, which features the title: "Princess Kate Steps Up: The Pressure to be Perfect." It hits shelves on July 6.

Today, the publication released a sample of the story's analysis, provided by royal insiders and etiquette experts. They say that Kate has taken on her evolving duties in stride.
Pressures surrounding her future as Queen impact her, no doubt, but "Catherine is the sort of woman who will take on whatever she needs to," they say.

Kate has long received praise for balancing her duties as a mom of three and a Duchess — who will one day be Queen and is the mother of a future King.
"Those who know her say there is a real core of strength, and she did set her mind to the job," royal author Sarah Gristwood told People.
"But at the same time, she'd have to be superhuman not to feel the pressure," Gristwood added.
Duchess Catherine shut down Tatler on fabrications
The Cambridges recently refuted a report in Tatler magazine that suggested resentment toward Harry and Meghan as a result of a heavier workload brought on by their royal exit. Despite the denial, William and Kate will shoulder additional work, another source said.
"Without Meghan and Harry, there is going to be a phenomenal workload on Catherine and William," the source revealed. "None of the older [generations] can do it all. The pressure is on the two of them."

But the Duchess of Cambridge is already mindful of public image and etiquette concerns with reference to her future as Queen, expert Myka Meier says.
"The future Queen is a role model to the U.K. but also to the world, which means all eyes are on you," Meier told People.
"The added pressure of having cameras everywhere to catch even the slightest eye movement makes everything she does a conscious effort. From the perfectly poised posture to the way she descends a staircase or gets out of a car—it is all carefully done."
This extends to fashion and how she dresses her children, another insider says.
"I think the pressure is more about her public image, making sure she is wearing the right brands, showing the kids in less expensive clothing, especially right now."
"If she needs to step up to the plate, she does it—and she always has," the source said.
