• Prince Harry told his side of the Prince William "bullying" story
  • Harry met with the royals about the conflict a while back
  • He says they made an unapproved statement on his behalf

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are telling all in their docuseries on Netflix. A big topic in the fifth episode is the couple's resignation from the Royal Family.

Shortly after the news broke, there were media reports of bullying at the Palace. Newspapers had written that Prince William had forced his brother and his sister-in-law out of royal work.

Prince Harry accuses the royals of using his name to lie

As Harry now tells it, at the time of the story, he was in a crisis meeting with the royals, who quickly denied the bullying in a statement.

But he was shocked by what the statement said. "Once I got in the car after the meeting, I was told about a joint statement that had been put out in my name and my brother's name."

As the Prince further explained, he had not given permission for this action: "I couldn't believe it. No one had asked me. No one had asked me permission to put my name to a statement like that."

Also interesting:

When he told Meghan about it, he said, she "burst into floods of tears."

Harry added: "Within four hours, they were happy to lie to protect my brother, and yet for three years they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us."

This action by the Palace made Meghan and Harry realize there would be no option but for them to leave behind the royals.
