Adam Lambert with Queen is an epic collaboration that began in 2011. Ever since Queen lost their frontman, Freddie Mercury, in 1991, the rock band is always looking for new ways to pay tribute to his legacy.
Over the years, Queen has paired up with a number of artists including singer Paul Rodgers. When the band's remaining members, drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May (bassist John Deacon has since retired) first heard Adam Lambert sing in 2011 they knew he would be a perfect fit.

Adam Lambert would join Queen in 2011 after Roger Taylor and Brian May saw Lambert perform on season eight of American Idol. Lambert's performance of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" really blew the iconic rock band away and they would waste no time getting in touch with the singer.
Calling American Idol up directly, Queen asked for the chance to perform on the show with Lambert and got their wish. The season finale was the first time Adam Lambert and Queen would team up and certainly wouldn't be the last.

Adam Lambert and Queen ended up getting on really well both on stage and personally, and Lambert would officially join the band in 2012.
Q + AL or QAL as some refer to the collaboration has been a huge success. After the release of the hit 2018 film Bohemian Rhapsody, starring Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury, QAL would announce their third tour, The Rhapsody Tour.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, the tour was cut short in early 2020 but is set to resume this year if all goes according to plan! We look forward to seeing more of Adam Lambert with Queen.
