Audrey Hepburn, Kate Moss, Princess Diana, and Duchess Kate have one thing in common— they all look beautiful as brides! We're taking a look back at the beautiful wedding dresses some of our favourite public figures have worn in the past, whether they're actresses, supermodels, or royals.

Lady Diana's XXL veil is said to have had an unbelievable length of 7.62 meters.

Lady Diana and Prince Charles' wedding was the major royal event in the eighties! Diana's wedding dress also went down in history— she walked to the altar in this creation by British designer Elizabeth Emanuel.

Back then, Diana's robe cost "only" 9,000 pounds. Today, the pompous dress would be worth at least 80,000 pounds— roughly the equivalent of around 92,000 euros!

Audrey Hepburn was not only one of the most famous actresses in the world in the fifties and sixties— she was also considered THE style icon of the time! In 1954, Hepburn married her first husband Mel Ferrer, walking to the altar in a calf-length, high-necked dress by designer Pierre Balmain. The long sleeves, satin gloves and a flower wreath in her hair completed her look.

Hepburn married for the second time in January 1969 after her marriage to Mel Ferrer ended a year earlier. In this photo, she and her second husband Andrea Dotti can be seen leaving the church after the ceremony. For her second wedding, Hepburn decided on a completely different look— a rather simple mini dress by Givenchy in light pink, which she combined with flats and a matching headscarf.

Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III of Monaco tied the knot in Monte Carlo in April 1956, and it was the wedding of the century! Kelly went from Hollywood star to royal, and was henceforth called Princess Gracia Patricia.

Grace Kelly's wedding dress was made by designer Helen Rose, who also created Elizabeth Taylor and Debbie Reynolds's wedding dresses. 36 seamstresses are said to have worked on the robe for three weeks. The dress became a timeless classic, and is still being imitated for many wedding gowns today— over 60 years later!

Did you know that Duchess Kate also used Grace Kelly as a model when choosing her wedding dress? On April 29, 2011, Kate married Prince William, becoming known as a duchess. With the close-fitting cut, long sleeves and lots of lace, Kate's dress is very similar to Grace Kelly's.

Duchess Kate's beautiful dress was designed by Alexander McQueen's chief designer Sarah Burton. It is said to have cost 250,000 pounds— the equivalent of around 270,000 euros. And since a total of 58 small buttons are attached to the back of the robe, it must have taken a while for Kate to put the dress on!
