Elizabeth Lail was born in Texas and grew up in North Carolina. After attending university at The North Carolina School of the Arts, Elizabeth went on to pursue an acting career.
Elizabeth Lail's Early Career
Early in her career, Elizabeth starred in many student film productions before landing a reoccurring role on season 4 of ABC's Once Upon a Time in 2014. In 2016 she landed the main role of "Amy Hughes" on the horror series Dead of Summer.
Elizabeth Lail as "Guinevere Beck"
In 2017, Elizabeth was cast in the role of aspiring writer "Guinevere Beck" on the Lifetime/Netflix series You, and became the love obsession of Penn Badgley's character "Joe". The 27-year-old has starred in 11 episodes of the series that is now in its second season.

Unfortunately she has appeared less in the second season after her character was killed off, but we are still hopeful that she will make appearances in future seasons of the show!
