Sex/Life is in the early stages of production for a first season with Netflix. On Thursday, it was confirmed that actress Sarah Shahi will star in the series.
Shahi will play "Billy Connelly," a married suburban mother who pines for the excitement of her younger single days. The series will reportedly see the character head to the city, where the interests of her present and former lives collide.
Who is behind Sex/Life?
Sex/Life is a series from showrunner Stacy Rukeyser, who previously worked on UnREAL. Rukeyser will also script the show.
The show's newly announced star, Sarah Shahi, is known for her regular roles in The L Word, Fairly Legal, and Person of Interest. She has also had guest appearances on ER, Supernatural, and The Sopranos.
