Bold and the Beautiful "Liam Spencer" is played by American actor Scott Clifton. Born October 31, 1984, Clifton would start his acting career at the young age of 16. Clifton's earliest roles were in commercials as well as these series:

Scott Clifton also had a successful run as "Dillon Quartermaine" on General Hospital and as "Schuyler Joplin" on One Life to Live. His past soap opera experience would come in handy when he auditioned for The Bold and the Beautiful.

Bold and the Beautiful's "Liam" would be cast to Scott in 2010. When Scott first auditioned for the part he had no idea what character he would be playing. In fact, he would not find out his character's name and backstory until the first day of filming!
Despite not really knowing what he had signed up for, producers knew he was perfect for the role, and Scott Clifton excelled in the part of business tycoon "Bill Spencer Jr's" long-lost son. In fact, Clifton now has three Daytime Emmy Awards to prove it!

Scott Clifton continues to star in the role of "Liam" today and the 38-year-old is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. "Liam" continues to get caught up in his relationships with both "Hope" and "Steffy", and it appears it may only get worse for "Liam" in future episodes.
