The Bold and The Beautiful's "Hope" today is looking better than ever! "Hope Spencer" was played by actress, Kim Matula, who would get her acting start at the young age of 12.
By the time she graduated high school, Matula had landed an agent and was well on her way to making it big. Her first significant role would be the one to change her career forever!

The Bold and the Beautiful would cast Kim Matula as "Hope Spencer" in 2009. After the character had been played by a number of child actresses, producers decided to age "Hope" drastically and Matula was the perfect fit.
Kim Matula would play the role of "Logan" married "Forrester", and then later "Spencer", regularly until 2014 when she stepped down to a guest role before leaving the show for good in 2016. Matula was warmly received by critics and fans alike and was nominated for both a Daytime Emmy Award and a Soap Awards France for her performance.

Since leaving The Bold and the Beautiful, Kim Matula has stayed busy. In 2018, Matula landed the lead role, "Veronica 'Ronnie' Messing", on the sitcom LA to Vegas and recently landed a guest-star spot on the Fox series, 9-1-1: Lone Star.
