- The star can be seen in a new film this month
Sandra Bullock may have a new movie coming out this month, but it will be her last project for some time! That's because as Bullock recently told Entertainment Tonight, she has decided to take a hiatus from acting so she can be at home with her loved ones.
Bullock says being at home "makes me happiest"
Bullock stars in the upcoming action comedy The Lost City with Channing Tatum, which will be released later this month. However, she revealed to Entertainment Tonight's Cassie DiLaura that she now wants to focus on her job as a mom! She has two children, son Louis and daughter Leila, and called being with her family "the place that makes me happiest."
The actress commented on how she takes her career "very seriously" and commented on the constant work it requires. "And I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family," she explained, sharing that she intends to be around for her children to cater to their needs. She also commented on having a reputation amongst parents as "the crazy lady with the pandemic" because of all the safety precautions she takes at home!

Bullock didn't say how long her hiatus would be, but she isn't the first celeb in recent months to talk about stepping back. Ryan Reynolds, who starred opposite Bullock in 2009's The Proposal and was originally attached to The Lost City before Tatum took over his role, recently talked about taking a break from acting until the summer so he could be with his family.
