One of the best romcom duos in recent years could be enchanting viewers in a new movie. This week, Deadline reported that Sandra Bullock will star in and produce the romantic comedy Lost City of D. Her co-star in The Proposal, Ryan Reynolds, is reportedly being eyed as the love interest in the project. This is what we know about the movie that's creating buzz in Hollywood.

After weeks of rumours on industry sites, Deadline has confirmed that Paramount Pictures reached an agreement with Sandra Bullock to star in and produce the comedy Lost City of D.
The film is reportedly based on a story by Seth Gordon (director of Horrible Bosses) about a romance novelist who discovers that a fictional city she's been writing about actually exists. Convinced that she could find love there, the writer sets out on a journey to find the mysterious place.
Bullock and Liza Chasin will produce the film which will be directed by brothers Adam and Aaron Nee. According Deadline, Paramount is eyeing Ryan Reynolds to play the love interest, which would mark a co-star reunion over 11 years after The Proposal premiered.
Lost City of D: Sandra Bullock is ready to "humiliate herself"
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bullock spoke about the romantic adventure film, which she described as an "ambitious and fun ride."
"When Liza and I heard the Nee Brothers pitch we knew we were about to embark on an ambitious and fun ride," Bullock told EW. "We all need some action, escapism and love right now. And if I have to humiliate myself on screen to do it... then so be it!"
