Mara has reportedly been pregnant for some time now
Mara may be much further along in her pregnancy than people expect. That's because according to Entertainment Tonight, a source told entertainment news outlet Page Six that Mara may be about 6 months pregnant! The source also shared that Mara and Phoenix have been quarantining together at their LA home during the coronavirus crisis.
Entertainment Tonight said that they have reached out to representatives of the couple for further comment. Mara and Phoenix first met while filming the offbeat 2013 romantic drama Her, and were romantically linked in 2016 when they starred in Mary Magdalene. Mara played the titular role, while Phoenix played "Jesus." It's rumoured that the couple became engaged last May, however neither Mara or Phoenix has confirmed this.

Phoenix thought Mara didn't like him when they first met
Mara and Phoenix are happily in love now, but Phoenix initially had a very different impression of her! As Entertainment Tonight mentions, Phoenix told Vanity Fair in October that he thought Mara hated him when they first met. However, it turned out that Mara was just shy!
"She’s the only girl I ever looked up on the internet," Phoenix said of Mara to Vanity Fair. "We were just friends, email friends. "I’d never done that. Never looked up a girl online."
Mara was seen supporting Phoenix during awards season, as he was nominated for— and ended up winning— several awards for his lead role in Joker. After the Oscars ceremony, the couple was photographed eating plant-based burgers together. "The two sat together beaming with happiness and basking in the glory of the night," a source told Entertainment Tonight back in February.
