Lea Michele is preparing to enter a brand new stage in her life... that of motherhood! As a source reports exclusively to People, Michele and her husband— entrepreneur and business owner Zandy Reich— are expecting their very first child together! "They've always wanted to be parents," the source shared with People.

Michele and her husband have been together for three years

Lea Michele and Zandy Reich were first seen together in April 2017. The following year, Reich proposed to Michele in April with a special ring! As People reports, he personally designed the four-carat elongated radiant cut ring with the help of Leor Yerushalmi and The Jewelers of Las Vegas.

Michele and Reich got married last year in March of 2019, in what People described as "an intimate and romantic ceremony in Northern California". According to People, over 200 of Michele's close friends and family members were in attendance, including her former co-stars Darren Criss, Becca Tobin, and Emma Roberts!

Michele says Ryan Murphy approving Reich "sealed the deal"

Michele previously revealed that once a very special person in her life had given Reich his "seal of approval", she knew he was a keeper! “When my boyfriend got the seal of approval from Ryan Murphy, that was it," she said during a red carpet interview at the Emmys in September 2017.

Murphy and Michele are friends as well as longtime collaborators after having worked on popular series like Glee and Scream Queens together over the years. It's no wonder then that Murphy's approval of her now husband meant a lot to Michele! "Yeah my parents, yeah friends, whatever," she joked. "But Ryan Murphy, it’s a done deal — it sealed the deal".
