Orlando Bloom is back home in America because of the global concern over coronavirus. Because of the worldwide precautionary measures being taken, production of Bloom's Amazon Prime TV Show Carnival Row has been stalled. He broke the news via his Instagram story on Thursday, sharing a short video filmed from the set of the show in Prague.
"It’s farewell from us as we’re going home to be quarantined," Bloom told his fans. "We’re coming home to the States, at least I’m coming home to the States because we want to get in before the quarantine".

Bloom shares message on Instagram story once home safe
Bloom let fans know when he had arrived back in the United States on Friday evening by writing out a short message, which he then shared on his Instagram story. "Hey guys, thank you all for you [sic] concern," he said in the note. "Just to be clear, our production of @carnivalrow season 2 was suspended by @legendary and @amazonprimevideo as a wise precautionary measure due to the events unfolding globally regarding COVID-19".
He went on to inform fans that the pandemic had not affected any of the cast members on the show directly. As well, he finished the message by expressing his relief about being back home with his loved ones and encouraging people to practice good hygiene. “There have been no reported cases of COVID-19 on our set or on our production," Bloom said. "I feel very grateful to have arrived safely home to my family. Be safe and wash your hands!”
