Born in Pasadena, California on July 8, 1982, Sophia Bush realized she had an interest for acting when it was required of her to perform in one of her school's plays in order to graduate. While she went on to study journalism at the University of Southern California, she also started to receive her first film roles, including National Lampoon's Van Wilder with Ryan Reynolds.

When Bush received the role of a lifetime on the teen series One Tree Hill, her career took off! Not only did she end up marrying co-star Chad Michael Murray (which famously lasted for five months), but she also gained more serious attention as an actress.
She had a recurring role in the drama series Chicago Fire from 2013-2017, which then led to a main role in the follow up series, Chicago P.D. Her character "Erin Lindsay" can also be seen in Chicago Med, Chicago Justice and even Law and Order: SVU.
Today, Sophia Bush can be seen on the new Hulu series, Love, Victor, where she has a recurring role as "Veronica" in the romantic comedy. Previously, she made an appearance in the successful NBC comedy, This Is Us.
The former One Tree Hill star also has an upcoming title role in the CBS drama Good Sam, where she'll be playing a surgeon! We can't wait to check out this medical drama!
Meanwhile, Sophia is also a huge activist for many organizations and movements, including Black Lives Matter, Time's Up, and other various yet significant political movements.
