Spears frequently posts a series of selfies at a time to Instagram, and her post-haircut posts are no exception! The "Oops! I Did It Again" singer took to social media to reveal her bold transformation, sharing three pictures that showed off her shoulder-length layered hairstyle.
"Cut my hair!!!! You know what they say .... out with the old .... in with the new !!!!! Now let us pray !!!!" the singer said in the first photo's caption, also including various fun emojis. As People mentions, there was a lot of love for Spears' new look— including from a very special person in her life! "I love it," Spears' boyfriend Sam Asghari commented, alongside multiple hearts.

Spears' decision to change up her hair comes at the same time she hopes another big change will happen in her life! As People shares, Wednesday also saw the latest court hearing in the legal battle Spears is facing over her conservatorship.
While Spears' father Jamie currently holds the title of her conservator— and in doing so, dictates control over many aspects of her life— the singer has spoken out against this. She has also reportedly turned to her mother, Lynn, for help in her desperation to seek autonomy.
