- Prince Harry's book sets new negative record
- 'Spare' becomes the most returned autobiography of 2024
- Lack of updates disappoints readers
Prince Harry's (40) autobiography 'Spare' has set a negative record once again.
The book, which made waves at the beginning of 2023 as the fastest-selling new publication, is now the most traded-in biography of the year for the second consecutive time. British online retailer We Buy Books, which purchases used books, confirmed that many readers have returned or sold their copies.
'Spare' becomes the most returned autobiography of 2024
A spokesperson for We Buy Books explained: "For the second year running, Prince Harry's 'Spare' is the most traded-in biography of 2024. This year, we purchased a total of 567 copies." While the book's retail price is 13.00 euros, the purchase price is just 4.53 euros. This price discrepancy may reflect the disappointment of readers who had expected more from the newly released paperback edition.
