Spoilers! Season 2 of Westworld ended with many of the main hosts deaths including "Maeves's" and many hosts crossing over to the "Valley Beyond" which is implied to be a virtual Heaven for the hosts, protected by "Dolores". "Dolores" had killed "Bernard" and "Charlotte Hale", (whom she replaced with a host version of "Hale") before stealing 5 hosts' consciousness and smuggling them out of Westworld.
What's New To Come!
The newest trailer shows a revived "Maeve" fighting through a World War II section of Delos, eventually getting to a face-off between her and "Dolores"! Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul will play "Caleb", a major part of the new cast, specifically interacting heavily with "Dolores" presumably in the outside world.

Aaron isn't the only well-known new face in the third season, surprise cast members will include Lena Waithe, Vincent Cassel, NFL's Marshawn Lynch and Hip Hops beloved Kid Cudi! From the trailer, it seems that little of this new season will actually take place in Westworld, instead in a World War II 'world' and the real world among humans.
Westworld: A Shorter Season
Jonathan Nolan claimed "This season is a little less of a guessing game and more of an experience with the hosts finally getting to meet their makers." It should be noted that this season will be the shortest season yet at only 8 episodes so be sure to be prepared for a quicker ending! Hopefully, with less of a wait for the next season.
